TERMS OF USE

Moorhouse Heating Ltd are a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 8781197. Our registered office is The Old Post Office, 19 Banbury Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AQ. Our VAT number is 207 8632 04

 

OUR FIXED PRICE REPAIR CHARGE

Our fixed price repair charge means you will only be charged once for repair work, this will include all parts and labour and is payable up-front through the booking app

 

WHATS INCLUDED

The supply and Installation of a maximum of three components

Up to three separate visits by a Moorhouse heating Ltd engineer

A one-year guarantee on supplied components

A three-month labour guarantee on the originally reported fault

The supply of components up to an accumulated maximum cost of £500

Supply of labour to repair boilers, hot water cylinders, valves, pipework, radiators, pumps, heating/hot water controls, gas water heaters (exclusions apply)

Supply of parts to repair boilers, hot water cylinders, valves, pipework, radiators, pumps, heating/hot water controls, gas water heaters (exclusions apply)

 

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

Supply or installation of radiators, towel rails, boilers, hot water cylinders, flues, external expansion vessels, cold water storage tanks, smart controls, main heat exchangers, low loss headers, external plate-to-plate heat exchangers, water softeners, immersion heaters, shower pumps, commercial components, decorative components, casings, insulation, computing components, oil tanks, LPG tanks or bottles, LPG euipment, oil supply pipes, underground pipework, under-floor heating, cookers, hobs, gas fires, gas heaters, range cookers, chimneys, oil heaters, solar, air source heating, ground source heating, electric boilers, solar cylinders, Boiler Mates, Powermax boilers, warm air units, thermal stores, solid fuel boilers/fires, log burners

Repairs to flues, external expansion vessels, cold water storage tanks, smart controls, main heat exchangers, low loss headers, external plate-to-plate heat exchangers, water softeners, shower pumps, commercial components, decorative components, casings, insulation, computing components, oil tanks, LPG tanks or bottles, LPG euipment, oil supply pipes, underground pipework, under-floor heating, cookers, hobs, gas fires, gas heaters, range cookers, chimneys, oil heaters, solar systems, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, electric boilers, solar cylinders, Boiler Mate systems, Potterton Powermax boilers, warm air units, thermal stores, log burners, solid fuel boilers/fires

Supply, installation or repairs to commercial appliances or components

Supply and installation of parts with an accumulated maximum value above £500

The supply and installation of more than three components

More than three separate vists by a Moorhouse Heating Ltd engineer to repair the same fault

Repairs to any appliance deemed beyond serviceable condition, beyond economic repair or in a location demmed unsafe or inaccessable

Supply, installation or repair to any appliance or component deemed unsafe or dangerous to an engineer

Supply, installation or repair to any appliance or component where satisfactory access is not possible

Electrical repairs to a ring main fuse box or any electrical components beyond those directly associated with the appliance being repaired.

Supply, installation or repair to oil storage tanks

Supply, installation or repair to any appliance not designed for the U.K. market

Repairs to smart controls, WI-FI components, oil tanks, LPG tanks, oil supply pipes, underground pipework, under floor pipework, under floor heating

When an applaince is to old, unserviceable or the parts are unavailable

 

IF WE ARE UNABLE TO SOLVE YOUR ISSUE

In certain circumstances we will be unable to repair your fault or for various reasons our engineer may decide that the issue may be deemed either un-repairable, or uneconomical to repair, for instance your appliance is to old, parts are unavailable or the appliance is situated in a position where access is not possible. In this instance we will refund your payment in full as detailed in the ‘refunds’ section below

 

OUR CANCELLATION AND ‘NO SHOW’ POLICY

You may cancel without any penalty up to one hour before your work is scheduled to commence. If you cancel within the one hour cancellation window, a cancellation fee equal to the full job price will apply. If you cancel up to one hour before, some or all of the money pre-paid at the time of booking will be refunded, depending on the circumstances of each case. If nobody is home when our engineer attends at the agreed booking time, a no-show fee will apply and this is equal to the full booking price paid.

 

MAKING PAYMENT

Advance payment will be taken by credit or debit card through the booking app. Please be advised that no refund can be made if you cancel within one hour of the agreed appointment start time.

 

REFUNDS

We reserve the right to cancel your appointment at anytime. If we cancel your appointment we will refund your payment within 14 days. We reserve the right to refund you in a different method to your payment method, we may decide to refund you by card, cheque, cash or bank transfer. If further work has been agreed, we may take payament or part payment from the ammount you have already paid. If the agreed work is for a lesser amount than your origional payment, we may provide a partial refund of your origional payment and use the remainig amount to pay for the agreed work.

 

GUARANTEE

All labour supplied by Moorhouse heating Ltd is guaranteed for three months from the point of job completion (for the origionally reported/repaired fault only). All parts supplied by Moorhouse heating Ltd are guaranteed for twelve months from the point of job completion. If the origional problem re-occurs within three months, we will not charge you for a return visit (labour or parts) to repair the issue, provided that the issue relates to the origional repair and a Moorhouse Heating Ltd engineer was the last person to have worked on the issue. If the origional problem re-occurs within twelve months, we will not charge you for parts but will charge you for labour at our standard rates – provided that the issue relates to the origional repair and a Moorhouse Heating Ltd engineer was the last person to work on the issue.
